Good to show Shading, Lot of Bleedthrough

I bought two Endless Recorder notebooks to use with my fountain pens. I tried this with a variety of fountain pens, nibs and inks and here are my observations.

1. Paper is very smooth and shows shading very well. I don't use inks that sheen so can't say about that.
2. Paper bleeds through very badly with almost all Ink/nibs combinations. I have tried from a Pilot Vanishing Point to Pilot Custom 823 nib and others in between. The least amount of bleed through was using a Pilot VP with Pilot Blue ink in it, the paper did have bleed throughs especially in letters such as i, l etc. The most amount of bleed through was when written with a Pilot Custom 823 with Iroshizuku ink. In this case, the back of the page was virtually unusable.

I am happy to provide photographs of this if needed. I am still on my first notebook and perhaps will only use a ballpoint pen with the second one. I certainly think the tagline of "A paper that loves ink" is a stretch.

Still Not Received Notebook

I was invited to review my recent purchase of a Recorder notebook. I have not yet received the notebook that I ordered 19 days ago. The online link with tracking information states that it is in transit. When I made the purchase I did not realize that the notebook was coming from India, which is likely contributing to the delay. While I cannot review the notebook because I have not (and perhaps may never) received it, the purchasing process has been a failure.

Regalia is a dream to write on

The sheen and shade of my inks come to life like never before on Regalia paper. It's just a dream to write on.

Seems like the only place to get the Blue A5 squared notebooks. Ordered online and received them in the US within a week. The team was awesome.

Given the slimmer profile and general absence of bulk, these notebooks would also make excellent travel journals. Since the pages are numbered, this notebook could also easily be converted into a bullet journal.
